Vaisakhi is also pronounced as Baisakhi, commemorates the formation of the Khalsa Panth in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. As Sikhs, we typically visit the Gurdwara or take part in various celebrations. However, with COVID-19 and adhering to social distancing, events are cancelled; however, this does not mean that Vaisakhi is cancelled!  You can also take part in global initiatives that can help you and your family stay connected. These are a few that I came across in which you can view more information, help, and share:
In addition to the above, we created two printables for you to celebrate at home! One of them is a colouring sheet for the kids to enjoy, and the other is an art print that you can frame as use as decor for Vaisakhi! You can also use various online tools/apps (I share more about them here) to connect with your loved ones! Don't forget to check in and soak in the beautiful moments of being with family. That's what matters most in this uncertain time!
